This is an overdue post of Fashion Week meets Olympics 2012, in the form of collages I started a while back. Fashion is going global, with designers, manufacturers and consumers scattered across the globe. And with this global expansion we are starting to notice new trends. One of the most obvious one is the fashion cliques that are based on geographical regions. Not that it is necessarily a drawback, I find it very interesting to watch the common denominator between these fashionistas.
The czarinas have a lot of new acquired wealth (billionaire husbands/boyfriends) and can’t get enough of fashion! And even though Dasha Zhukova is not technically part of the pack, she is often seen in fashion events mingling with the pack leader Miroslava.
